Registration
Have you registered your new or returning student for school? Returning students can use their existing Skyward account to register and update their information, while new students can easily create an account.
Important Dates
Here are a few important upcoming dates for the 2024-2025 school year:
- Meet the Teacher: Monday Aug. 5
- First Day of School: Wednesday, Aug. 7
- Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 2
Free Meals to Students
DVISD will provide all students free breakfast and lunch to enrolled students through the Community Eligibility Program.
Student meals are free for all without collecting household meal benefit applications. A socioeconomic form is needed in place of the meal application, and this can be found on the registration page for new and returning students.
School Hours
- Elementary: 7:30 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
- Middle: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- High School: 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
On Fridays, all DVISD schools release early. The Friday school hours are:
- Elementary: 7:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m.
- Middle: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- High School: 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Meet the Teacher
Monday, Aug. 5, 2023:
- Elementary: 4-6 p.m.
- Middle School: 5-7 p.m.
- High School: 6-8 p.m.
