Del Valle ISD will offer free state-mandated pre-k for students who meet eligibility requirements.
For those students who do not qualify, a tuition-based pre-k program IS AVAILABLE. See additional information below.
As part of our commitment to early childhood education, Del Valle ISD offers a free and a tuition-based Pre-K4 program. Students must turn 4 years of age by September 1, 2026 to enroll in Pre-K4 programs for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Two-Way Dual Language Program
Del Valle ISD will offer a Two-Way Dual Language model where both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking students participate in the Dual Language program beginning in Pre-K. This program will be available for Pre-K students based on availability. Please visit this webpage for requirements.

Pre-K Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much does the tuition-based program cost?
The monthly tuition for full-day Pre-K4 is $700 per month.
2. Will the tuition-based program be discounted for employees?
Yes, employees will receive a 20% discount. The monthly tuition for full-day Pre-K4 is $560 per month.
3. What is the next step if my child is enrolling in the tuition-based program?
Families must accept their seat and submit the first month’s tuition payment by May 23, 2025. The enrollment application will be finalized once your payment is received.
4. How will I make payments?

DVISD will also accept personal checks or money orders that can be made payable to: Del Valle ISD. Payments can be made at the District PEIMS Department or to the Campus Secretary.
5. When are payments due?
For non-DVISD employees, tuition is due on the 1st of each month. If payment is not received by the 5th of
each month, an additional $50.00 late fee will be added to your monthly tuition. If payment is not received by
the 15th of each month, your student will be withdrawn from DVISD and will not be permitted to re-enroll in the
tuition-based Pre-K Program. DVISD employees will be required to set up payroll deductions.
6. If my student is not accepted into the ACE program, will I be able to cancel my student’s Pre-K4 enrollment and receive a refund?
Yes, you will receive a full refund if your student is not accepted into the ACE program. ACE notifications will be sent June 25, 2025. You will have until July 11, 2025 to email Pre-K@dvisd.net and cancel your enrollment for a full refund.
7. Once my student is enrolled into DVISD’s tuition-based Pre-K4 program, can I withdraw my
student? Will I be refunded any tuition?
● Yes, you may withdraw your student at any time after they have been enrolled into the tuition-based Pre-K4 program. Please see your Campus Registrar for assistance.
● If you withdraw your student after the 1st of the month, you will not receive a refund or prorated tuition for the current month. No additional tuition payments will be due after withdrawal.
