My name is Nicole Scott. I received my bachelor of music from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. This is my sixth year of teaching and marks my third year to teach in Del Valle. I am a first soprano and my best style of music is musical theater. I have been in many different choirs over the years: jazz, madrigals, show choir. My hope is to grow these same opportunities for the students here as well. Marching and concert band, as well as musicals, are other performing arts’ ensembles I have been a part of over the years. I love seeing the light bulb turn on over a child’s head as things click together when they learn something. The students in Del Valle are very hard working and have already received awards and recognition in building this program. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my two dogs and painting.
