PHOTOS: High school marching band earns top rating, advances to area competition

The DVHS marching band scored a first-division rating, the best rating possible, at the UIL Region 18 marching competition this week. They will now advance to the area competition, where they will face top bands for a spot at the state competition. 

The band will perform their marching show,” Breaking Glass,” at the area contest on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio. They go on at 11 a.m.

Congratulations to the band and directors on an excellent performance, and best of luck!
