PHOTOS: DVISD Education Foundation surprises 2024 Teachers of the Year

Teachers across the district were surprised Friday when they were celebrated for being chosen as their campus's Teacher of the Year. DVISD leaders and DVISD Education Foundation members went on a tour across the district, stopping at every campus and parading down the halls to each teacher’s classroom.
 
Winning teachers were surprised with a yard sign announcing their selection and a $300 check from the foundation. Winners ranged from science to art teachers and every subject in between. Here is the full list of winners:
