“Robert Vela has a great understanding of what it means to be the leader of the Del Valle ISD Police Department,” Superintendent Tielle said, “In his time with us, I watched him build positive relationships with our students, staff, and his fellow officers, which is a truly important part of leading a school district’s police department. He brings knowledge and experience that ensures our schools remain safe places for students to learn.”

He has a positive mindset and strives for excellence as we move into this new chapter for our football team.”
