Now that we’re a few weeks into the school year, we want to thank you for supporting your student in showing up and staying engaged!

Every day in class is a building block for your child’s future. When students attend regularly, they develop the habits, knowledge, and skills that set them up for long-term success—in school and beyond. Even a few missed days can add up quickly and make it harder to keep up. That’s why consistent attendance matters from the early grades all the way through high school graduation.

Here are some simple ways to keep strong attendance going:

• Stick with consistent morning and bedtime routines
• Have a backup plan for getting to school
• Schedule appointments outside of school hours
• Stay in touch with teachers about attendance needs
• Reinforce with your child why showing up matters
