Del Valle ISD ranked one of most equitable districts in Texas

Personal finance website, Wallethub, listed Del Valle ISD as the 24th most equitable district in Texas. The ranking puts DVISD near the top of the list of more than 1,000 Texas school districts.

The website used average spending per student and median household income to formulate the equity rankings. Del Valle was the highest-ranked Austin area school district.

The website notes the study is meant to show where school funding is distributed equitably to students. District scores were based on a point system evaluating the district's per-student spending and household income as it relates to the state's averages for spending and income.
