On January 6, the Del Valle ISD Board of Trustees approved the district's academic calendar for the 2026-2027 school year. From the District Advisory Team recommendations, Option 1 was selected and received 75% of the votes in the survey presented to families, staff, and community members.

- Wednesday, August 12, 2026 - First Day of School
- Monday, September 7, 2026 - Labor Day Holiday (district closed)
- Friday, October 2, 2026 - Staff Development Day (no school for students)
- Friday, October 23 & Monday, October 26, 2026 - October F1 Holiday (district closed)
- Friday, November 6, 2026 - Staff Development Day (no school for students)
- November 23-27, 2026 - Thanksgiving Break (district closed)
- December 21, 2026 - January 1, 2027 - Winter Break (district closed)
