Smart Tag Parent APP

The DVISD SMART Tag system helps increase safety and security for students riding on a school bus, leveraging technology to improve student management and communications on school buses.

SMART Tag monitors student loading and unloading, providing real-time information to the Transportation Department and parents.

SMART Tag Parent APP

The SmartTag Parent App offers alerts with message when your child is approximately 10-15 minutes from their stop and a locate map allowing parents to view a map showing their child's bus while their child is on board.

Portal registration instructions

  1. Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the FREE SmartTag app
  2. Tap "Create an Account." Enter the same email address associated with your child in Skyward Family Access.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code emailed to you.
  4. Create a password.
  5. Sign in with your email and password.
  6. On the welcome screen, tap "Find students."
  7. Search for Del Valle ISD.
