Thank you for your interest in serving as a campus leader in Del Valle ISD. We strongly believe that campus leadership sets the tone for the entire campus, and supporting the recruitment and retention of highly effective leaders in DVISD is one of our key priorities. To meet our mission and vision in DVISD, we must have culturally responsive school leaders who have the skills to support the fidelity of instructional program implementation on each campus. In addition, leaders must be adept in developing systems to support each student's social, emotional, and behavioral growth.

Whether you are an aspiring leader already working in DVISD, or you are looking for the opportunity to move into the district, we look forward to working with you through this process of leadership selection and development in our district.

Selection Process

  1. Application, Resume, and Letter of Interest are submitted in the TalentEd Application System.
  2. Application and submitted materials are reviewed by a committee to select qualified applicants.
  3. Qualified applicants meeting Del Valle’s Profile of a Leader are selected to attend an in-person assessment. During this assessment, the applicants will engage in activities related to the T-PESS Domains.
  4. After review of the assessment activities, applicants will be selected for an in-person structured interview process in Del Valle ISD. If an applicant is not moving forward after the assessment, they will be notified that they are selected for the next step. These individuals will be eligible to begin the process again for the following school year.
