Annual Fine Arts Event
Join us on April 1 from 9am-1:30pm for the 4th annual district-wide Fine Arts Event being held at Del Valle High School. Tell your neighbors, family and friends- everyone is welcome to attend this free community celebration of the arts! Free prizes drawn for participants every hour!
The Fine Arts Department will host the 4th Annual DVISD Fine Arts Event at Del Valle High School on April 1, 2017. Fine arts students from every campus and all fine arts disciplines will participate in the event. Historically, we have had over 1,600 students participate and approximately 2,000 community members attend the event. The youngest students are from the Child Development Center who showcase their work in the art exhibition with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The event will include hands on activities hosted by local arts organizations and Del Valle ISD faculty. Performances by Band, Choir, Dance, and Theatre will be scheduled throughout the day. Student produced films will be presented in the main cafeteria. The event also includes a free drawing for fine arts opportunities and prizes, donated by local fine arts organizations.
