Del Valle ISD proudly offers a comprehensive Fine Arts Program in Music (Band, Choir, Orchestra), Dance, Theatre Arts, and Visual Arts, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Fine arts are an integral part of the curriculum, aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and vertically integrated to support student success at every level.

Our dedicated specialists foster well-rounded development by igniting creativity, building imagination, spatial reasoning, problem-solving, collaboration, resilience, communication, and self-motivation, often leading to stronger academic performance and a lifelong passion for the arts.

Elementary programs emphasize music and visual arts foundations, while secondary students choose specialized courses in band, choir, orchestra, visual arts, dance, and theatre.

Del Valle ISD celebrates consistent student excellence, including regular region, area, and state qualifications, strong UIL performances, and participation in competitions, concerts, exhibitions, and community events.

The district has earned the Texas Art Education Association's (TAEA) District of Distinction Award for visual arts programs for six consecutive years, including 2025, highlighting its outstanding commitment.

Community members are warmly encouraged and invited to attend performances and events.
