Request for special education Records/Solicitud de documentos de educación especial
April 18, For school year 2022-2023 NOTICE OF DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS In accordance to
Texas Library Archives Commission section 3-1:
Del Valle ISD Special Education Department will be disposing of student special education records for
students that graduated, withdrew, or were dismissed from Special Education prior to the 2015–2016 If
you graduated, withdrew, or were dismissed from Special Education prior to or on the 2015-2016 school
year and need a copy of your SPED records, please send a signed written request no later than July 6th,
2023.
The request should include your name, date of birth, the last school you attended in Del Valle ISD,
month and year you last attended DVISD. Also send a copy of your state issued picture ID or driver’s
license (or any other ID including collage ID or from other country).

18 de abril, año escolar 2022-2023 AVISO DE DESTRUCCIÓN DE REGISTROS De acuerdo con la
sección 3-1 de la Comisión de Archivos de la Biblioteca de Texas:
El Departamento de Educación Especial de Del Valle ISD eliminará los archivos de educación especial de
los estudiantes que se graduaron, o se dieron de baja tanto de la educación Especial como del Distrito.
En el año escolar 2015-2016 Si se graduó, se retiró o se dio de baja de la Educación Especial antes o
durante el año escolar 2015-2016 y necesita una copia de sus archivos de la educación Especial (SPED),
envíe una solicitud por escrito firmada a más tardar el 6 de julio de 2023.
La solicitud debe incluir su nombre, fecha de nacimiento, la última escuela a la que asistió en Del Valle
ISD, mes y año en que asistió por última vez a DVISD.
También envíe una copia de su identificación con foto emitida por el estado de Tx o licencia de conducir
(o cualquier otra identificación, como la identificación de la Universidad o de otro país). Envíe las
solicitudes antes del: 6 de julio de 2023
