Elementary Students: The LEAD program is open to all students, kindergarten through fifth grade. Interested students must apply to be considered for the LEAD lottery by completing the online application. In August, applications are put through a randomized lottery process to determine acceptance to the program. Students are grouped by family unit so siblings are not split by enrollment. Notifications of acceptance are sent to parents following the lottery. In order to start the program, parents must attend a LEAD orientation. Students not selected for enrollment at the start of the year are put on a waiting list. Students are accepted off of this list in order of application date as spots become available in the program.
Secondary Students: LEAD provides after school enrichment programming for all secondary students in grades six through twelve. Due to lower enrollment, no lotteries are held at the secondary level. Interested students must apply by completing the online application. Notifications of acceptance are sent to parents and students. In order to start the program, parents must attend a LEAD orientation.
