Hi there! My name is Laura McCord and I teach Art I at Del Valle High School.  I am originally from Dallas, Texas and grew up in a very artistic and musical family. My parents did not hesitate to help instill a love of the arts and all things creative. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Visual Arts. I love all art forms, but my specialty lies in photography, drawing and painting.  I adore what I do! I love that I get to teach children what I love the most!
