Dance Teacher

Del Valle High School

I was born and raised in Killeen, Texas where I began my dancing career. While living in Killeen I danced for ten years at Dance Extreme’s top company. I also participated as a member and officer on the Harker Heights High School Crimson Belles drill team. After high school I received a dance scholarship to McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas. While at McLennan I  was able to compete at the highest level of collegiate dance, reaching second place at National Dance Alliance in 2005. I then transferred to the University of Texas at Austin. At UT I was a member of the UT dance team, as well as the executive director for the 2008-2009 school year. I graduated from UT with a BA in Theatre and Dance and a minor in Kinesiology with honors. I began teaching at MA Dance Project in Cedar Park and The Dance Spot in Round Rock. I have been immersed in dance for many years and it is a passion of mine that I emulate in my teaching.  I’m excited to join the Del Valle ISD team!
