State Academic Accountability Rating
State Academic Accountability Rating: Texas provides annual academic accountability ratings to its public school districts and schools. The ratings are based largely on performance on state standardized tests and graduation rates. The ratings examine student achievement, student progress, efforts to close the achievement gap and postsecondary readiness.

Results Driven Accountability (RDA)
Results Driven Accountability (RDA) formerly Performance-Based Monitoring Analysis System (PBMAS): The RDA is a local education agency (LEA) level, data-driven monitoring system developed and implemented annually by the Division of Review and Support in coordination with other departments within the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR)
Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR): The TAPR collects a wide range of information on the performance of students every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on staff, programs, and student demographics.

The State of Texas provides funding for textbooks through an Instructional Materials Allotment that is overseen by a committee of DVISD staff members.

Other Information
PEIMS
Del Valle ISD has a responsibility as a whole to continually strive for accuracy in PEIMS data. In order to reach greater accuracy, we must be willing to work as a team to efficiently collect, communicate, code, maintain and update all data.
PEIMS is the abbreviation for the Public Education Information Management System. It is a data collection system for gathering student, staff, financial, and organization data from school districts and education service centers.
All Texas School districts are required to adopt and maintain a student accounting system, which includes procedures that will ensure the accurate collecting, recording and reporting of all student accounting data. This data is reported to the Texas Education Agency via the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS). State law mandates participation in PEIMS.

Private Schools
Private schools located within Del Valle ISD and private schools whose students are Del Valle ISD residents may be eligible for participation in federal programs for Title I, Title II, Title III, and Title IV. Annual consultations occur each May. Please contact the Director of Federal & State Programs for more information.
State Compensatory Education
The purpose of the State Compensatory Education (SCE) program is to supplement the regular – or basic – education program with compensatory, intensive, and/or accelerated instruction. The program requires Texas public school districts and charter schools to offer additional accelerated instruction to each student who meets one or more statutory or locally-defined eligibility criteria in order to reduce any disparity in performance on assessment instruments administered under Subchapter B, Chapter 39 TEC, or disparity in the rates of high school completion between students at risk of dropping out of school and all other LEA students.
