Del Valle ISD High School #2 Bond Updates

As of February 2023:

• The land purchase for the second high school has been finalized 
• Site development design is continuing 
• Structural and geotechnical testing is ongoing 
• Permit process is being reviewed with city and county officials 
• Costs estimates and design revisions are still underway

DVISD broke ground on the district's second high school in November 2023. It will be located in the Whisper Valley neighborhood in the northern part of the school district. Read the full story here: 

HS #2 Groundbreaking

Progress continues to be made on the construction as slab and grade has been, and continues to be, poured in sections. Steel structure is also being placed and walls are being raised in sections as well. From the road, you can see the building being raised where there was once trees and fields.
