Communications
The Communications Department focuses on providing families with accurate and timely information, in addition to sharing positive stories from all campuses with the community. The department oversees district messaging, marketing, volunteer approval, flier distribution, ParentSquare, social media, and news media relations.
Fliers
Del Valle ISD will distribute electronic fliers for non-profit and youth-oriented organizations to share opportunities available to students and families. Fliers are only distributed electronically via ParentSquare on Fridays only. The district is unable to distribute paper fliers for non-district purposes.
For-profit businesses advertising is not permitted.
Del Valle ISD has final approval for the release of any flier and may deny permission for any reason consistent with federal or state law, district policy, procedures or practices.

Volunteers
Del Valle ISD welcomes approved volunteers to campuses to help support student learning. Volunteer opportunities are at the discretion of the campus administration. An approved district background check is required to volunteer at any DVISD campus.
