DVISD School Closure Extended Through May 1

After careful consideration and discussions with the state Commissioner of Education and Superintendents in Central Texas, Del Valle ISD determined that it is in the best interest of our community to remain closed through May 1st. The closure includes cancellation of all extracurricular activities, athletics, after school programs, and events. During the closure of schools, Del Valle ISD will follow an Alternate Learning Plan. Mar. 30 Update

DVISD will provide meal service Monday through Thursday while schools are closed. Starting Mar. 30, we will provide breakfast and lunch Mon.-Wed and meals for 3 days will be provided on Thurs. Delivery routes may change based on demand. Click for more info.

Internet Options

Several companies are offering free or reduced cost internet to families with school-aged children for a limited time. Del Valle ISD will move to an E-learning plan beginning the week of March 30.

Del Valle ISD serves over 11,000 students on 16 campuses and works to do “Whatever It Takes” for their students. The district’s official mascot is the cardinal and the colors are true red and white.
