Students from every grade level at Gilbert Elementary School participated in the 5th annual Living Museum on Friday, Nov. 17, to teach parents about influential people, historical times and events.
“The goal is for all of the kids to work on a project and develop researching skills,” Assistant Principal Lindsey Gonzalez said. “We want to give our students hands-on experience working on a major task from start to finish.”
The purpose of the Living Museum is for students to do research on a particular topic/subject, learn about non-fictional study materials and social studies.
