Congratulations to Baty Elementary School, who received a $1,000 award from the St. David’s Foundation, for turning in all 386 student dental treatment consent forms, which resulted in 267 students receiving free dental treatment totaling $215,581.
The St. David’s Foundation provides free dental treatment to selected Central Texas schools via their mobile dental program. Any school that returns 100% of student dental treatment consent forms will be awarded $1,000 to their school, respectfully.
“Over the years, The St. David’s Foundation has partnered with Baty and all Del Valle ISD elementary schools, and the community has valued their commitment to our students and families,” said Jennifer Garcia, principal for Baty Elementary School. “There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student with a new sense of confidence after visiting the dental van.”
