The joint initiative, formally announced on September 18, 2026, aims to broaden access and specialized support for transition-age students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through the partnership, eligible students in both Central Texas school districts participate in a year-long, immersive workplace internship within Ascension Seton’s flagship teaching hospital
