CTE Health Science Practicum students from Del Valle High School participated in National Night Out at the Easton Park community. National Night Out is a nationwide initiative to bring emergency and law enforcement personnel into communities for positive community-building activities. The health science students promoted district CTE programs while providing CPR instruction and checking vital signs.

“I heard many people in our community were impressed with the DVISD students,” said Easton Park Lifestyle Director Collette Cosby, “Their participation in this event helped build excitement among parents that their future DVHS students will be able to participate in exceptional CTE programs.” Cosby is a member of the Del Valle ISD Education Partners and regularly explores new partnership opportunities with the district.
