The Del Valle ISD Instructional Technology department hosted the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) State Robotics competition on Saturday, April 27, at Del Valle High School. The competition is considered to be one of the most prestigious events highlighting top performing robotic and invention teams across the state.
The event had approximately 600 students from across the state for the robotics competition.
“With this being a state competition, we hope that our District will get exposure across Texas for our use of flexible learning spaces and innovative technology practices throughout the District.” Director of Instructional Technology Juan Orozco. “Hosting the state competition also provides our students a look at the next level of competition and creates a sense of inspiration for our students to achieve more in their STEAM endeavors.”
