Students from the Netherlands hosted a series of interactive workshops for students at Del Valle Elementary School on Friday, March 8, to discuss the future world development.
The workshops focused on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations discussing the challenges the world will face in the upcoming decades. These topics addressed food supply, water management, energy, transportation, educations and equal opportunity.
“We are excited to have students from the Netherlands share their ideas and talk with our students about world issues,” said Del Valle Elementary Principal Jay Maines. “This will be a memorable experience for our students and staff.”
