Throughout Del Valle ISD, the district invited parents and guardians to celebrate a Thanksgiving lunch with their children at each campus from Nov. 9 through Nov. 16.
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans were some of the lunch items served to all students, parents and guardians.
“Thanksgiving is a time when families come together to enjoy a delicious meal,” Celina Bley, assistant superintendent of finance, said. “Here at Del Valle, everyone is family, and we’re happy to host an event of this magnitude for parents to enjoy.”
Del Valle ISD administrative cabinet staff assisted with serving to our students, parents and guardians.
