Del Valle ISD Community Fair

The Del Valle Community Spirit Fair was held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Del Valle High School cafeteria to celebrate Spirit Week throughout Del Valle ISD. The Spirit Fair is an event where the community comes together to support the district and students are able raise funds for various clubs or organizations.  

Below is a list of the student-led fundraisers that took place during the Spirit Fair.  

Student Organization — Booth

  • Cardinals Belles — Nachos
  • Cheerleading — face painting, hotdog and hamburger
  • Class of 2018 — Popcorn and sausage wraps
  • Class of 2021 — Candy bars
  • Hospitality Group — Toss or Treat & Musical Chairs
  • Structured Learning — Mums, rings, bows and coffee cart
  • Student Council — Snow cones

“We are raising money for our general fund because this year, we are starting over and we’re trying to set a good foundation for the upcoming class,” said Vice President of Student Council Trey Washington. “Spirit Week and especially the Spirit Fair allows student council and other organizations to interact with the Del Valle community and parents.”

Spirit Week in Del Valle is a week-long event and it concludes with the Homecoming game scheduled to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 27 at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
