2016 TEA Campus Distinction Designations Released

 

Congratulations to our 7 campuses who earned Distinction Designations! Campus distinction designations are awarded in recognition of outstanding achievement in specific areas. Campus distinctions are based on performance that is in the top quartile for indicators of student performance in comparison to forty similar campuses identified by TEA- the Texas Education Agency. TEA closely matches forty campuses based on size, grade span, percent economically disadvantaged students, mobility rate, and percent of students with limited English proficiency. For the 2015-2016 school year, the following Del Valle ISD campuses earned distinction designations:

  • Baty Elementary – Academic Achievement in Science
  • Creedmoor Elementary – Academic Achievement in Science
  • Gilbert Elementary – Academic Achievement in Science
  • Hillcrest Elementary – Top 25 Percent Student Progress
  • Smith Elementary – Academic Achievement in Science
  • Dailey Middle School – Academic Achievement in English Language Arts/Reading
  • Del Valle HS – Academic Achievement in Science, Academic Achievement in Social Studies, and Postsecondary Readiness
