On Wednesday, September 7, Superintendent Crook, co-chaired the Central Texas Attendance Rally. The purpose of the rally is to show support for the importance of promoting a culture and practice of attendance in our region with the help of business and community leaders, school leaders and administrators, attendance officers and parents. District Attendance Officer Rocky Zepeda also spoke at the event and introduced the student speaker for the event, a Del Valle High School Junior. The Del Valle High School Steel Drum band was also in attendance and provided lively entertainment at the start and end of the event.
