Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to all the Del Valle ISD campus Teachers of the Year! Maria Luisa Fernandez from Baty Elementary School was named Elementary Teacher of the Year and Leslie Nicole Daughtry from Dailey Middle School was named Secondary Teacher of the Year. The two will represent Del Valle ISD at the regional level for the State Teacher of the Year program sponsored by TEA. Congratulations Maria and Leslie on this award!

Cardinal Connection

Del Valle ISD serves over 11,000 students on 15 campuses and works to do “Whatever It Takes” for their students. The district’s official mascot is the cardinal and the colors are true red and white.
